[What is "Umakacchan"?]
"Umakacchan" is a instant noodle of pork bone taste produced by House Food Fukuoka branch in 1978. It has been on sale since 1979.
All of the developers are from Kyushu area of Japan and this "Umakacchan" was created with the aim of pork bone ramen purely matching the mouth of the Kyushu people.
Since it is only the Fukuoka plant located in Kyushu, it can be purchased only in Kyushu and Yamaguchi prefecture basically. Although it can be purchased in the Kinki region, there are a few shops dealt with.
That sticking pork bone soup is a peculiar purport that can not be tasted elsewhere, and it is enough for this ridicule to account for the majority of instant noodles share in Kyushu.
Inspired by that hit, local Japanese noodles were developed even throughout Japan.
Regardless of the narrow range of sales, there are top notch names among local noodles, so Kyushu travelers buy this delicious Umakacchan as a souvenir and return home.

[How to cook]
1. Boil about 550 ml (less than 3 cups) of water, boil the noodles, boil it for about 3 minutes while loosening. If you like a tampon's noodles, please shorten the boiled time slightly.
2. When the water boils, stop the fire and add the powder seasoning.
3. Transfer to a vessel and add seasoning oil.
(You can eat more delicious if you like baked pig, Menma, Kurrage, leek, red ginger, sesame etc. according to your preference.)
