Central Florida grown Mango, from Valencia Pride tree kind.
This is late-season mango, originated in South FL. The fruit has a sigmoid shape that is long and slender, with rounded base and rounded apex, and a large apical beak.
It's quite large and averaged well over a pound per piece at maturity, sometimes even more. The skin is green/yellow on the fully ripen fruit with crimson blush. The flesh is yellow or orange-yellow, nearly fiberless, firm and juicy. Sweet flavor and aroma.
Fruit typically ripens from July to August in Florida.
For shipping we'll select fruits that are not too ripe, so they will hold during transportation better. Store them in dark place to ripen quickly (paper bag or box works the best) or in fridge for longer storage and slower ripening.
Please note, that transportation may case some bruising in fruits and it's normal and not a defect.
