which were
manufactured by Voluple’, as indicated by the manufacturer’s mark, a “V” in a circle.
Each badge was cast in a single piece of metal, with a ‘dished’ back, and a ‘stiffener’-equipped with a perfectly working pin-back type clasp.  The bottom half, reverse side of each badge, is inscribed “Property of the US Government” (see attached photos).
